The Midlife Energy Reset: 5 Daily Habits to Reclaim Your Vitality

1. Start Your Day With Natural Light

2. Prioritize Protein at Every Meal
Women over 35 need more protein than they think — for muscle, metabolism, and satiety. Aiming for at least 25–35 grams of high-quality protein at each meal stabilizes blood sugar, keeps you full, and gives your body the building blocks to thrive.
3. Strength-Train (Even Briefly)
You don’t need hours in the gym. Two to three short, focused strength sessions a week — even 20–30 minutes — can dramatically improve your energy, bone density, and mood. Focus on building, not burning out.
4. Build Micro-Recovery Into Your Day
Stress is inevitable. Being constantly “on” is optional. Add 1–3 micro-breaks into your day — 60 seconds of deep breathing, a five-minute walk, or a moment of quiet before your next meeting. These tiny resets train your nervous system to recover quickly.
5. Go to Bed Earlier Than You Think
Sleep is your ultimate energy reset. Aim for a consistent bedtime and a wind-down routine that signals safety and calm. Think dim lights, no screens, gentle stretches, or a short journal entry to clear your head.
